We welcome walk-ins at The Three Horseshoes, although we’d always recommend booking ahead, particularly at weekends and during busy periods. You can reserve a table easily via our Book page. Please note: the garden is operated on a first come, first served basis so it’s best to book a place inside and then request to take it outside if there’s availability. In most cases there should be plenty of seating.

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at The Three Horseshoes. We have indoor and outdoor areas where dogs can join you — just let us know when you book and please make sure your dog is on the lead for the duration to protect the wellbeing of our chickens!

Yes, we have a lovely outdoor seating area which is perfect for warmer days. It’s a great spot to enjoy a drink and take in the surroundings of the South Downs.

There is parking available at the pub for around 40 cars. If it is full you can park in our overspill car park, entrance via the village hall opposite. Elsted is a small village so please be considerate of local residents when parking.

Yes, we have vegetarian and vegan options on our menu. Please speak to the bar team about specific dietary requirements and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Allergen information is also available on request.

We’d ask that little ones are supervised at all times, and please let us know when booking if you’re bringing younger guests that require a high chair. We have a kids menu that includes ice cream from local supplier Caroline’s Dairy, priced at £15.
