Christmas Pub near Midhurst

Christmas table bookings are now open at The Three Horseshoes. Join us to celebrate the festive season with roaring fires, fine wines, festive drinks and indulgent food, all served in the welcoming setting of our country pub in the heart of the South Downs. As a traditional Christmas pub near Midhurst, we’re taking bookings for November and December, and we recommend booking early.

Our Group Christmas Menu is served from 23 November to 4 January for parties of six or more.

When is the Christmas menu available?
Our Group Christmas Menu is served from 23 November until 4 January. We recommend booking early, as tables fill up quickly over the festive season.
Who is the Group Christmas Menu for?
The Group Christmas Menu is for parties of six or more guests. Smaller tables are welcome to join us from our regular menu.
How do I book a table for Christmas?
You can book online through our Book page or call us on 01730 825 746. For groups of ten or more, please call us directly so we can discuss your arrangements.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
For groups of six or more booking from the Group Christmas Menu, we take a card pre-authorisation at the time of booking. No payment is taken unless the booking is cancelled or reduced with less than 48 hours’ notice.
What is your cancellation policy for Christmas bookings?
Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your booking. For groups of six or more on the Group Christmas Menu, a charge of £15 per person applies if the booking is cancelled or numbers are reduced with less than 48 hours’ notice.
What is the largest group you can seat?
We can seat parties of up to 26 guests. For larger groups, please call us to talk through your options.
Do we need to pre-order?

Yes. All tables of six or more on our Group Christmas Menu are asked to pre-order. We’ll be in touch ahead of your visit to take your choices.

Can we order from the regular menu instead?

Yes. If you’d rather not pre-order, you’re welcome to order from our à la carte menu, which will include Christmas dishes.

Are you open over Christmas and New Year?
Christmas Eve: 11:30am to 9pm. Christmas Day: closed. Boxing Day: 11:30am to 5pm. New Year’s Eve: 11:30am to 7pm. New Year’s Day: 11:30am to 6pm.
Do you have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. Vegetarian dishes are marked (v) and vegan dishes (vg) on our Group Christmas Menu. Our Vegan Wellington is served with vegan-friendly sides.
Is allergen information available?
Yes. Allergen information is available from our bar team. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book and again when you arrive.
